Purification and characterization of lipase produced from Bacillus cereus (PCSIR NL-37)

There is a growing trend to produce lipase from microorganisms owing their commercial demand in various industries. Bacillus cereus has been shown have extracellular activity and high growth rates. This study explains the purification of microbial homogeneity by dialysis, precipitation chromatography. The purified enzyme with 56kDa relative molecular mass exhibited highest at 60°C (95.56U/ml) pH 7 (124.50U/ml). was highly promoted presence K+ (136.17U/ml) Zn++(133.07 U/ml), SDS did not affect activity, whereas company triton X100 maximum (23.90 U/ml). enhanced using almond oil (120.00 U/ml) as substrate. We deduce cheaper protocols for producing via simple laboratory techniques, which could be good insight its production level. Keywords: Lipase; cereus; chromatography; activity; purification.
